One of the biggest worries petlovers have - who is going to look after their beloved pets while they go on holidays. When they are used to everyday life in their own environment, used to cuddles, watching the television, walkies on time and snuggling up with that safe feeling when it's bedtime, then it's a wrench to your heart to even think of putting them somewhere where they will be caged up. Kennels offer a safe caring environment, but not the home from home feeling that they would have staying with another pet lover.
Petsitters was started for this very reason, I couldn't bear the thought of 'my baby' going anywhere where I didn't feel she would be happy. For her now it's just like a holiday from home and she gets excited when I pack my case. It's the next best thing to being home!
The pet lover has a wonderful 'work from home' job doing something they love that doesn't alter their daily routine but enhances it. All of my sitters say they have met some wonderful pets and wonderful people and earning an income without having to leave home! Home Boarding: where pets are cared for in a family home. A network of ‘pet sitters’ are employed on a part time casual basis to care for customers’ pets in their own homes.
House Sitting: where a trusted, fidelity bonded member of the team stays at the customers’ home to care for any pets along with the security of the house in the owners absence.
Dog Walking: useful for dog owners who are out at work all day, or for people with disabilities who are unable to walk their dog. Regular dog walks can be provided or walks on a one off basis.
Home Visits: certain pets are better suited to remaining in their own home and we can visit cats and caged pets as well as provide care for other pets such as reptiles, fish etc. We do not offer this service for dogs as we believe they need company and are better suited to home boarding or house sitting.
Horses and ponies/smallholdings: where ‘pet sitters’ have equine or smallholding experience we are able to offer this service.
Other Services: we offer services on an individual basis such as watering plants, shopping for pet food, taking pets to the vet or grooming salon, giving medication to pets etc.
We offer extra special care for elderly or sick pets and are able to look after a variety of animals unsuited to kennelling.
